When I chose to use this book as my lesson I went back online and Oh! so many different mediums for me to research it in. When I was doing my CertIV in Education Support I needed to choose a subject that I could use with my class and I found this book. What a wonderful study of poetry, something that I think year 6s and 7s would enjoy working with and studying. Back then, all I knew to do was look online for the book, but how things have changed after completing this Technology unit. I had to choose a subject that I thought we good for an Authentic learning task and this book is the cornerstone of my idea. Each poem is illustrated with one or more full-page black and white drawings in a style reminiscent of Edward Gorey.
